PARIS – Paris Francophone Institute For Freedoms called on the French authorities to begin an immediate and serious investigation into hundreds of women who were subjected to sexual assaults and harassed during the country’s celebrations at the World Cup in Russia on Sunday
Paris Institute, an international human rights organization, said in a press release that it was shocked by the complaints of hundreds of women who had been sexually assaulted during celebrations of the France winning at the World Cup.
Paris Institute said that the French authorities should open a large-scale investigations into and prosecute the perpetrators and hold them accountable to stop such shameful behavior in order to reduce them in the future.
The Institute stressed the responsibility of the French authorities to prosecute perpetrators of sexual assaults due to their involvement in the exploitation of celebrations in public squares to do their disgraceful behavior.
Paris Francophone Institute For Freedoms stressed that it is the duty of the French authorities to response to the complaint of their women who have been sexually assaulted through serious and effective measures against perpetrators.
